Salamanca set up a presence in Bulgaria after investing in Bulgaria Mall, various projects in Bansko and various residential projects in Sofia. Currently our operation is run from London Sofia Property's offices (www.mrproperty.eu) who are Salamanca's strategic partners in many of our Bulgarian projects. London Sofia Property is currently developing projects across the region with a GDV in excess of €700 million. The developments generally encompass prime retail, office and large scale mixed-use schemes located in prime locations in the city centre of Bulgaria, Croatia and Ukraine. 

Bulgaria Mall is one of the most exciting projects in the Balkans and is located in one of the most premier locations in Sofia. Construction of the mall commenced at the end of 2008 and is due for completion in Q4 2012, the scheme is financed by Unicredit Bank and when complete will comprise of some 128,000m2 of built area.

Whilst Bulgaria has a number of challenges to overcome we believe that our first rate partner relationship and the quality of the projects that we have in the country will help us to out perform the market.
